She Warriors stand strong in the face of adversity, maintain the courage of their convictions, are guided by their faith in God, devotion to family, and love of country.
Our icon, St. Joan of Arc, received messages from God describing how she was to live out a virtuous life including leading an army on a righteous mission on behalf of King Charles. God's messages were delivered by St. Michael the Archangel. The first time she heard the voice she was 13 years old. The voice came at mid-day in the summer time in her father's garden. According to Joan, "the voice always came from 'The Right Side' toward the church, accompanied by light.
